He has the following academic qualifications:

• BCom Honours Degree (Industrial Psychology) from the University of Johannesburg
• BTech Degree (HR Management) from UNISA;
• Diploma in Personnel Management from the Institute of People Management (IPM)
• Leadership Development Programme from Wits Business School

He has served on the Board of the Institute of People Management (IPM) He is registered with the South African Board for Personnel Practice (SABPP) as a Chartered HR Practitioner (Generalist) and is also an mentor for the SABPP. He is also a member of other institutions such as the Institute of Directors (IoD), the Black Management Forum (BMF) and the South African Reward Association (SARA).
